BRAND'S MESSAGE
“There’s a Red Porch in every city, town and neighborhood. It’s a stoop in Brooklyn, the basement in Philly, the trap-house in Pelham North Carolina, or a pic-nic table in the park in LA. It’s the place you find family, friends, camaraderie and brotherhood. It’s where you go to leave the problems of the world behind for a while to vibe and feel the love from your people in peace and safety. We call ours the Red Porch on Kent Street. What’s yours?”

The Red Porch: More Than a Brand—It’s a Vibe, a Code, a Homebase
Read More🔴 The Red Porch: More Than a Brand—It’s a Vibe, a Code, a HomebaseThe Red Porch: More Than a Brand—It’s a Vibe, a Code, a Homebaselanned. It wasn’t fancy. But it became sacred.
We laughed there. Debated there. Smoked and drank and healed there. Hustlers, 9-to-5ers, gangsters, college cats, OGs, and young bulls—all gathered up at the Porch. It didn’t matter what you did for a living—if you carried yourself with respect, you were good. The Porch had a code. No drama. No beef. No business on the porch or inside the fence. Even the youngest hustlers knew: not here.
You could feel the peace. The energy. It was the safest place on the block—even while the world outside spun wild with robberies, raids, chases, and street wars. We’d just sit and watch it all unfold, like a movie, from the steps of our Red Porch.
But it wasn’t just the steps. It was the whole zone.
Shabba cooking jerk chicken across the street.
Dominoes and chalice smoke in Smiley’s basement during winter.
Arguments about politics and sports that could last hours. It was community. It was culture.
It was ours.Red Porch Clothing was built to carry that spirit.
Every shirt, every hoodie, every design comes from that place—not a design lab or marketing team. We’re telling the truth about who we are, where we come from, and what matters to us. This isn’t fast fashion. It’s fashion with soul. Streetwear with a code. A brand that reflects real life.
We’re here for the ones who’ve seen the real side of life and still carry themselves with pride, discipline, and love for their people.
Because no matter what’s going on out there,
there’s always a Red Porch somewhere.Where’s yours?

Tribute To Ellis Echevarria
Read the full tributehttps://yourstore.com/blogs/news/we-gotta-inspire-them-a-tribute-to-ellis-echevarria).
Ellis Echevarria was a talented artist and the designer behind the Red Porch logo. His creative eye and dedication to truth and culture helped shape the foundation of our brand.
More than just an artist, Ellis was part of the original Red Porch crew. He was one of the day-ones—someone who stood on that porch, talked life, laughed, debated, and built bonds with the people who would later turn that energy into something real. The Red Porch wasn’t just a name to him—it was home.
A longtime resident of Hartford, Ellis left his mark on the city through his work—both in visual art and community-centered design. His public art installations, including a large-scale mosaic commissioned by the Greater Hartford Arts Council, reflected his passion for uniting people through creativity.
Beyond visual art, Ellis was instrumental in the development of the Heaven or Hell clothing brand, founded by the late Anthony Griffin. Heaven or Hell was more than fashion—it was a cultural statement. Ellis helped open that door, and his influence spread through every connection he made. My brother worked closely with Anthony Griffin for years, helping grow the brand’s presence in cities
all across the US.
Shortly before his passing, Ellis and I spoke on the phone. That conversation reminded me of how deeply he believed in the power of creative work to move people. One thing he said during that call stays with me:
"We gotta inspire them."
That message lives on in the work we continue to do at Red Porch.
